{"id":3010,"date":"2026-01-16T08:20:05","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T08:20:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aselt.it\/macchinari\/induttori-in-rame-argentato-per-riscaldo-a-induzione\/"},"modified":"2026-07-08T09:50:31","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T09:50:31","slug":"induction-heating-coils","status":"publish","type":"macchinari","link":"https:\/\/www.aselt.it\/en\/macchinari\/induction-heating-coils\/","title":{"rendered":"Cu+Ag 0.1% copper coils for induction heating"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Design and FEM simulation<\/h2>\n<p>Every coil starts from a <strong>FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation<\/strong> process, which analyses the magnetic field distribution and heating depth in advance.<\/p>\n<p>This approach optimises the winding geometry, improves flux concentration, reduces Joule losses and ensures uniform, controlled heating.<\/p>\n<p>Simulation allows the coil to be customised for the material, operating frequency and workpiece shape, avoiding costly physical testing.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Construction material \u2013 Cu+Ag 0.1%<\/h2>\n<p>Aselt coils are made of <strong>Cu+Ag 0.1%<\/strong>, a material combining high electrical conductivity with mechanical strength even at high temperatures.<\/p>\n<p>Key characteristics include electrical conductivity above 100% IACS, mechanical strength up to 200 \u00b0C, low thermal deformation and a service life up to 20 times longer than pure copper.<\/p>\n<p>This material allows <strong>more efficient energy transfer<\/strong> and less wear in continuous duty cycles.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Fluxtrol\u00ae magnetic flux concentrators<\/h2>\n<p>To increase the efficiency of our coils we use <strong>Fluxtrol\u00ae<\/strong> magnetic materials as flux concentrators, directing the energy exactly where it is needed.<\/p>\n<p>Benefits include higher magnetic field intensity at the working point, lower lateral losses, faster and more uniform heating, and reduced energy consumption.<\/p>\n<p>The concentrators are shaped and integrated inside the coil to maximise magnetic performance and improve heat treatment quality.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Construction and welding<\/h2>\n<p>Every coil is crafted by hand and brazed with a <strong>high-conductivity silver alloy<\/strong> to ensure solid, impurity-free mechanical joints.
