Design and structure
Aselt panels are built with CE-certified industrial components in compliance with EN 60204-1 and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
Each panel is divided into a power section managing supply and energy conversion, a control section with PLC and logic modules for the operating cycle, and an HMI section with a touch human-machine interface for monitoring.
The compact, ventilated structure ensures high heat dissipation and easy access during maintenance operations.
Industrial PLC and logic control
Every Aselt panel is equipped with an industrial PLC dedicated to managing the thermal cycle and heating parameters.
Features include multi-parameter management of power, time and frequency, integrated safety logic against overcurrent, overtemperature and loss of flow, the ability to store and recall process recipes, and interfacing with the IPC system for real-time traceability.
HMI touch screen interface
Aselt panels integrate 7″ or 10″ HMI touch screens with graphic display of process parameters. The operator can set power, monitor heating curves and store the data of every cycle.
The interface provides real-time display of current, voltage and temperature, dynamic heating charts, access to multi-level password-protected menus and remote connection via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
The HMI is available in several languages and is fully customisable, including the integration of the customer’s company logo.
Safety and regulatory compliance
Safety is an integral part of Aselt panel design. Every panel is fitted with residual-current circuit breakers, IP65-rated barriers, automatic thermal control, hardware and software emergency stops and self-diagnostic systems in case of failure.
All devices comply with current European regulations and are supplied with a CE declaration of conformity.
Integration with the IPC system
Aselt control panels communicate directly with the IPC system to ensure continuous supervision of the heating process. The PLC receives real-time data and compares it with the virtual master, flagging any drift from the set parameters.
This integration enables digital traceability of thermal cycles, automatic deviation alerts and digital report archiving, improving process quality and reducing waste.
Automation and connectivity
Aselt panels can be connected to company supervision and management systems via standard protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, Profinet and Ethernet/IP.
This enables remote plant monitoring, predictive maintenance management and structured collection of production data.
Applications
Aselt control panels are installed on hardening and tempering systems, automated brazing machines, continuous heating lines and custom systems developed for OEM customers.
They are fully compatible with Aselt generators, LMT transformers and custom coils, ensuring complete, reliable integration of the entire induction heating system.
